2020 ACCP Annual Meeting
The 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology® was a big success! ACCP is proud to be the only clinical pharmacology-focused society to successfully execute a virtual meeting in 2020, consistently delivering on its Mission & Vision to provide exceptional educational events.
A global audience heard presentations from 90 international Faculty Speakers who participated in three Pre-meeting Workshops, the Special COVID-19 Session and 19 Symposia on a series of topics ranging from research and drug development to patient care. The Invited Keynote Steven D. Gore, MD gave an engaging presentation on "20 years of ‘Epigenetic’ Cancer Therapy - Who are We Fooling?". Additionally, 93 scientific posters were presented from authors from around the world. The Attendee Survey indicated 95% of respondents were pleased with the overall educational content and 87% had a positive experience with the virtual platform. 83% of Faculty Speakers would accept an invitation to speak at a future ACCP Annual Meeting and 100% of Poster Presenter respondents were satisfied with how Posters were displayed on the virtual platform.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to the Course Chairs and Faculty Speakers, as well as the 2020 Annual Meeting Program Committee, for planning an outstanding meeting. Additionally, the ACCP CE Compliance Subcommittee is to be thanked for working diligently to review and provide feedback to ensure presentations of the highest quality and the ACCP Honors & Awards Committee is to be congratulated for their efforts in selecting outstanding ACCP Recognition Award Winners. As always, we are deeply grateful to our Sponsors for their ongoing support.
