September 13 - 17, 2021

We invite you to join us for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology®, Spearheading Innovations in Clinical Pharmacology, September 13 – 17, 2021. Our focus will be on maintaining the welcoming, intimate nature of the ACCP Annual Meeting and providing exceptional educational sessions that include a diverse, global representation of Faculty Speakers. The 5-day meeting will include many of the elements you have come to appreciate in the ACCP Annual Meeting:

  • Outstanding educational sessions
  • Poster Sessions
  • Honors & Awards presentations and interviews
  • Roundtable discussions on a wide range of topics
  • Private networking rooms for each attendee
  • Networking breakout sessions throughout the meeting, including a Virtual Happy Hour

In keeping with ACCP’s long-term commitment to excellence in science and education, the 2021 Annual Meeting Program Committee, co-chaired by Drs. Navin Goyal and Arun Ram, has worked diligently to provide a diverse and exceptional educational program that meets the needs of healthcare professionals and scientists with an interest in one or more of the myriad of applications of clinical pharmacology ranging from research and drug development to patient care. In the weekend prior to the Annual Meeting, two hands-on Pre-meeting Workshops will be hosted, one of which focuses on beginner level principles of population pharmacokinetics & the fundamentals of NONMEM® software and the other on developing effective scientific communication skills. On Friday, September 10th, a series of special Student, Trainee & Early-stage Professional-focused programs will provide exposure to innovative science and career development opportunities, including a Panel Discussion on how to thrive in the new hybrid model of the workplace and a two-hour event during which Attendees can network with senior colleagues from all career paths.

Prerecorded Poster presentations focusing on new findings presented by a wide spectrum of Attendees will be hosted in two Poster Sessions on Monday, September 13th, including the ability for Poster presenters to chat Virtually with Attendees in private chat rooms. Informative roundtables from our Sponsors spanning topics from new technologies to the importance of Mentoring and open positions for those seeking career opportunities will also be hosted throughout the meeting.

The educational sessions will start on September 14th with a Plenary Session on the Role of Clinical Pharmacology in Vaccines Development: Has the Current Pandemic Changed Our Thinking?. The 14 Symposia hosted over the next four days include a diverse, global group of Faculty Speakers that span the breadth of academia, industry, regulatory agencies, consulting companies and clinical specialties. The educational programming is designed to encompass presentations on high-impact topics and is organized into tracks that allow Attendees to uniquely tailor content selection to their individual interests. New this year are two sessions reserved for “Hot Topics” that will present late-breaking content arising as the meeting draws near. Each morning will start with Alumni meet ups and casual networking opportunities, followed by the opportunity to hear from our distinguished Recognition and Student Abstract Award Winners.

Each Attendee will be provided with a private networking room that hosts up to four persons at a time, allowing you to catch up with old friends and connect with new. Interspersed through the meeting is a series of Networking Breaks, some of which will focus on specific topics and others of which are more casual, continuing to provide that opportunity to connect with colleagues. Set some time aside after sessions close on Thursday for a Virtual Happy Hour. Persons interested in joining the ISoP/ACCP Special Interest Group can meet late on Wednesday.

For those who have never had the opportunity to attend an ACCP Annual Meeting, join us in 2021 and see for yourself how ACCP hosts an outstanding educational and scientific event that provides healthcare professionals and scientists with a forum to exchange knowledge and ideas that promote and expand the value of clinical pharmacology in healthcare and drug development. Registration is now open! Remember to register early for the Pre-meeting Workshops, as seating is limited.

ACCP is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide credits for our educational courses. Credits are provided to meeting Attendees at no additional cost.

Come learn, network and be part of an excellent educational event in the clinical pharmacology community! We look forward to “seeing you” in September!
